mainly because it is based on herbs & plants grown
in natural surroundings and in abundance in different
parts of our country.
Moreover in Ayurveda, the science of nutrition is not
separated from Pharmacology. No distinction is admitted
between foods and drugs. One can compile a list of hundred
plants which are used in our country both as food and
medicine. BOTH ARE TERMED AS "DRAVYA".
With this concept M/s Hindusthan Sweets a pioneer in
many ways of sweet meat making, has ventured for the
first time in Indian sweet meat industry, into arranging
a marriage between herbs and some traditional items
of sweets.

With
virtual internationalization of Ayurveda, the term "Herbal"
has become a synonym of nature's care and well being.
This widespread interest in Indian Herbs has inspired
us in making this pioneering move.
To start with, we shall be using pure concentrates of
herbs like Arjun, Brahmi, Tulsi & Kulekhara, vegetable
items like Carrot, Beetroot & Soybeans. The concentrates
mostly in powdered form will be judiciously mixed with
the usual ingredients of sweets so as to retain their
natural color, medicinal property and aroma.
No synthetic color reagents will henceforward be used.
These herbs and vegetables concentrates would serve
as dependable sources of nutrients and natural anti-oxidants
for our customers.
