A dish that is favourite to all Bengalis. Soft and succulent luchi with a filling of mashed peas is known as Karaishutir Kachuri. The peas are mashed and cooked with spices like chilli powder, cardamom powder, cumin powder, etc. before they are used for filling the dough and frying it. The Karaishuti Kachuri can be complemented with potato curry or paneer as per wish.
